On Tuesday March 22nd at 3pm pst Voices from the Frontlines hosted a conversation with Eric Mann, Channing Martinez, and Charisse Burden-Stelly on the upcoming Walter Rodney Symposium.
In that the Strategy Center launched the National Leadership School for Strategic Organizing with the study of Walter Rodney’s How Europe Underdeveloped Africa, we want to do everything we can to promote the symposium and the continued legacy of Walter Rodney this Saturday starting at 7 AM PST.
Charisse addressed what it meant to be a Rodney advocate under present conditions.
Channing addressed applying the lessons of How Europe Underdeveloped Africa to the structure of neocolonialism in Black Los Angeles and how it’s playing out on the Metro Buses and Trains in LA.
