Voices Radio: VICTORY FOR STANDING ROCK
This weeks edition of Voices from the Frontlines is fund drive for Standing Rock and KPFK. Listens who gave money had their donation split in order to sustain KPFK, and to support the continued Standing Rock Movement. Voices from the Frontlines raised a total of $6500.00 during the four o’clock hour.
This week on Voices from the Frontlines, We’re joined by Kandi Mossett, an organizer with the Indigenous Environmental Network. Were proud to announce a victory in the Standing Rock movement: the Army Corps of Engineers has made the decision to deny the permit for the Dakota Access Pipeline to run under Lake Oahe. Both Eric Mann and Kandi agree that this is a victory, but we have much further to go.
