The NAACP is one of Americas oldest civil rights organization.The NAACP was founded in 1909 in response to the lynchings and racist political and social violence against blacks.
In this show Eric holds a brief but extensive conversation with Derrick Johnson state president of the NAACP of Mississippi.
During the Civil rights era the NAACP worked prominently within the system for legislative and judicial changes, while at the same time providing legal defense for other grassroots organizations.
In this conversation Johnson discuss with Eric the important part that the NAACP played during the Civil Rights era.
