Professor Miguel Tinker Salas

Professor Miguel Tinker Salas, discusses the presidential elections that took place in Mexico on Sunday, July 1st. Now that the elections are over,  A) what can we expect will be the real consequences for the Mexican people and, B) what will the consequences be for movement building in Mexico and in the U.S.?

Professor Salas is Professor of Latin American History and Chicano/a Latino/a Studies at Pomona College in Claremont, California. He is also the author of The Enduring Legacy: Oil, Culture and Citizenship in Venezuela; and co-editor with Steve Ellner of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez and the Decline of an Exceptional Democracy.
