Voices Radio: “The Lives of Others” Film Review

This week on Voices From the Frontlines Eric Mann reviews The Lives of Others. Eric tells us briefly about the history of the German Democratic Republic—GDR, and relates the plot of the film to the current state of the government and the state of the genocide against Black people today in the United States. Eric also speaks about the complicated dance that the GDR plays in a means to maintain power in a state surrounded by the threat of western capitalist imperialist take over. Take a list to the show, watch the trailer, and watch the film and send us comments and thought to eric@voicesfromthefrontlines.com and Twitter/Facebook: @EricMannSpeaks
