Historian Gerald Horne: ” The Counter-Revolution of 1776: Slave Resistance and the Origins of the United States of America”

As part of Voices effort in KPFK’s fund drive, host Eric Mann and KPFK’s Interim Director Alan Minsky discuss with Author/activist/Historian Gerald Horne his latest books. Professor Horne has written several books, two of which are, “The Counter-Revolution of 1776: Slave Resistance and the Origins of the United States of America”, and “Race to Revolution The U.S. and Cuba during Slavery and Jim Crow”. The conversation is very dynamic and reveals many of the hidden political attitudes and agendas which are congruent to capitalism and it global scheme of oppression and exploitation.
